Blindfold ProductionsThree years ago, Jazz Jennings entered our homes through her show I Am Jazz on TLC where she shared the day to day life of an American teenage girl who just happened to be transgender. The show changed the scene for many in the LGBTQ+ community. I Am Jazz gave a voice to many who are often left silenced and educated the masses on what life is really like for a transgender individual.
In summer 2018, Jazz Jennings invited Blindfold deeper into her world to discuss how life has changed since starting the show, her continued work in advocating for LGBTQIA+ youth and how getting the gender confirmation surgery would impact her life.
